We absolutely loved this hotel! It was in a perfect spot in Positano that was both easily accessible but peaceful. It’s a lovely walk from the hotel to the town center, and doesn’t really require any stairs which is a big pro. The views were beautiful from every location in the hotel, and breakfast was amazing right on the water! It was amazing having a quieter beach to go to with discounted chairs, and the food on the beach was amazing. The staff were all super friendly and helped us with our luggage on the very steep stairs when we arrived and left.
Hotel Pupetto was INCREDIBLE! We stayed there for a week for our honeymoon and had a gorgeous view, we were steps away from the beach, and a short, easy (very few stairs!) walk to Positano city center. The staff were so kind, very responsive to email and even helped arrange car services and kayak experiences for us. The breakfast and coffee each morning was delicious and we tried basically every pizza on the menu and we recommend you do the same, every single one was delicious!! Thank you for a lovely honeymoon experience and we hope to come back soon!
Stayed at the Pupetto for 6 nights in October. Lovely hotel and very helpful and friendly staff. Right on the beach. The quality of the food in the restaurant was magnificent. It's worth noting that it is a stretch from Positano itself though, either from the Positano beachfront or the 250-step steep walk to the top. The taxi can only take you so far. It's nothing much for younger, fitter people but not quite so easy for OAP's or younger kids which may take its toll day after day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was stunning, and we loved the hotel. It was spotlessly clean and everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. The walk into the town is a very easy paved path with stunning views the entire way.
Punches above its weight. Rooms are basic but very clean. Team is very nice. Location is fantastic as it’s right above the beach and away from the touristy area but close enough that you can comfortably walk over whenever you want. It is lower down so lots of steps to get to the best dinner spots (but that would be the same for almost any hotel). You won’t get the classic view as with most hotels but you get that all day long while exploring and at most restaurants. Beach and beach restaurant are great and you get a discount as a guest. Formal dinner restaurant is also delicious.
It was the best experience we ever had in a hotel! The staff (especially Veronica) was super attentive from the moment we made our reservation, taking all our doubts through e-mail.
Everything was perfect. From the moment we arrived to the room view and the breakfast. It was a really memorable stay. The location is also worth mentioning since it is not in the center of the city, it gives a little more tranquility at night, but at the same time, it is just a 10m walk from the city center.
Fantastic location and beautiful views. The main beach is very accessible (7-10 min walk, no hills/very few stairs). The hotel is so peaceful and away from the chaotic main beach. The staff is very professional and accommodating. They answer any inquiries and questions promptly. The hotels breakfast as well as lunch and dinner was fanatic. 5 star all around!!!
Well. For what we paid this was not worth it. This hotel is right by the beach, and we'd probably rank it as a 3star hotel. The rooms are dated, and the beds not comfortable, the walk to the hotel is quite tricky so older people should probably not attempt to stay here.
The service is however fine, the check in went smoothly and we got the help we needed.
I you are younger, and want a hotel by the beach this is it. But even though it is high season, and we understand the prices go up, paying 400 euros a night is not reasonable.
